Located in Lecce, a city in southern Italy, the Torre del Parco stands as a testament to a glorious history that began in 1419. This iconic venue embodies the quintessential Mediterranean climate – where warm, extended summer days transition into mild winters, making it a year-round attraction.
A stone’s throw from the vibrant town centre, this historic tower boasts a unique design that allows for versatile event planning. Here, you can exchange vows in the Moat beneath the towering structure, surrounded by Lecce’s signature luminous limestone and lush greenery. Post-ceremony, guests can indulge in aperitifs on the candlelit Terrace, overlooking the city and its ancient gates bathed in the golden hue of sunset. The venue’s Garden is perfect for a lavish buffet featuring live cooking stations, while the expansive Great Hall, complete with a grand fireplace, offers an exquisite blend of contemporary design and authentic restoration for a formal dining experience.
Further enhancing the venue’s charm is the adjoining Garden, which bathes indoor spaces in natural light. Inside the Tower, an ancient Chapel adorned with original frescoes awaits exploration. Moreover, remnants of history are evident in the old Prison, where inscriptions left behind by inmates can still be seen on the walls.
Before the commencement of any event, our knowledgeable guide delves into the tower’s rich history and associated legends. With a variety of halls, the venue caters to both grand and intimate gatherings, ensuring exclusive bookings for weddings on any given day. Central to our offerings is the cuisine – a delightful array crafted from locally sourced ingredients, customizable to individual tastes. Be it dishes or desserts, we pride ourselves on our culinary delights. As the evening progresses, guests can revel in entertainment provided by DJs or live bands, all within the evocative confines of the tower.
Nestled within the premises is the Historic House, comprising nine rooms set in the ancient Convent. Constructed in the 1600s atop the remnants of a 15th-century complex, the site once housed the Tower, the Prince’s Palace, the State Mint, and the Court. Each luxury room is thoughtfully adorned with antiques and outfitted with contemporary amenities, with the added benefit of direct access to the Wellness Area. Here, guests can unwind with therapeutic massages administered by our expert therapists. A brief stroll down a picturesque, tree-canopied path leads to our affiliate, the Pollicastro Boutiques Hotel, which boasts an additional 12 suites.
